Winter approaches

Dr. and Mrs. Thingo have been gracious enough to share their evenings with me lately, watching season three of Babylon 5. I've been walking over to their place a few nights this week. Last night was quite nice. Even though it was cold and windy, there was the anticipation of winter in the air. It snowed a little, with negligible accumulation, but it was a start.

Today was a bit different. At points of the morning, it was pretty white outside, even though the ground is still a bit too warm to have any real accumulation.

Dropping my course has been a great relief in a lot of ways. The day I talked with my prof, I went home, read some of my book, went to bed early. It's been a lot better. Even still, I've been pretty tired. I think it's partly due to the changing seasons, with the shorter days. It's darker when I get up, and it's darker when I leave work. Though I suspect it's also because I'm still not going to bed any earlier. Well, it's almost 11 now. Maybe I should do something about that.
