Inertial dampeners failing!

Things have been very status quo for quite a while. Work has been stupid busy, and I've been too tired to do anything interesting in the evenings really. Mostly, I've just been re-reading the whole Harry Potter series to refresh my memory before starting the last book.

My birthday as you know, was a bit busy. The exam didn't go particularly well, and upon finishing it, I wasn't sure that I'd even passed. But after that I had a nice quiet dinner at Masala Bay, and dessert at Charbrie's with EcoMonkey LLP, then we retired to their headquarters to watch the fantastically amazing movie, Hot Fuzz. So at least the day ended on a good note.

Well, good news! I magically scraped a 60% in that course! Who knew? The fall looks like it will be a lot of fun, with CO456, Game Theory

All your Gröbner bases are belong to us

I'm almost over and done with this bloody course. I won't do well, but I'll pass. I might even get a 60. The sad thing is that except for one Pure Math course, it will be the highest mark I've received to date from that Department.

Today was the first day back to work, after taking a couple of days off to try and get some studying done. Cripes was it hot out. Hot and humid. And hot.

That's about all the energy I have for blogging for now.
